Two VPN Stars Will Lead Their Own Spin-Offs

Updated: Dec 15, 2021

Kevin J. Stone ("Lovers Lane") and MarQues Woolford ("My Life") will be spearheading two brand new shows coming to the Victory Productions Network which will be spin-offs from the shows each actor starred in.

Kevin J. Stone will be starring in the new series, Love Games, which is a spin-off of the award-winning series Lovers Lane (2015-2019). The new series will take place three years later after its predecessor following Malachi Stewart (Stone) to Augusta, Georgia as he continues to pursue his passion in becoming a screenwriter and filmmaker after graduating from film school. Malachi will be living with a set of housemates who each have their own different personalities and quirks... and set of drama. Malachi and his new group of associates are now on a journey of learning how to handle the politics of pursuing their aspirations and how it can sometimes intertwine with the game of love. Production is set to take place in the Spring of 2022.

Meanwhile, MarQues Woolford will be leading the pack in the new series, Who Do You Love?, which is a spin-off of the award-winning mini-series My Life (2020-2021). My Life was VPN's first LGBTQA+-centered/focused series, and the spin-off will continue to follow Troy Curry's (Woolford) journey after relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina with hopes to move forward in his career and rejuvenating his dating life. However, when Troy connects with his cousin and her group of friends, who are all on different ends of the “sexual spectrum”, he realizes that as he begins to explore new things from new vantage points, he is definitely in for the ride of his life. Production is set to take place in 2022.

Casting calls for both shows will be announced via the Victory Productions Network mailing list so please be sure to sign up or subscribe to the VPN website.

Kevin J. Stone also starred in the 9th and 10th seasons of The Lyons Den and the films Reindeer Games, A Very Merry New Year, and Secure The Bag (directed by Nakia T. Hamilton). Kevin is represented by the Phirgun Mair Talent Agency.

MarQues Woolford also starred in all four seasons of What's Your Chocolate (created by Timothy McCallum) and the film Redemption For Easter and is the lead in the upcoming film Pastor Thorne: Lust Of The Flesh. MarQues is represented by the Carolina Talent Agency.
